How to use a medical oxygen cylinder at home.

Requirements :

• medical oxygen cylinder filled with gas.
• FA Valve / oxygen cylinder regulator.
• 3 in 1 spanner or 25/28 wrench & cylinder opening key.
• breathing mask (child or adult) or nasal canula
• oxymeter (to measure the oxygen level it the body)
• Cylinder Trolley

there are various sizes and types of oxygen cylinders namely standard (made with ss steel) b type and small and portable (made with alunimium) lightweight, more easy to operate and comes in handheld, medium and b type sizes. good for carrry and travel also.

We ensure : While giving delivery, the quantity of gas in a given cylinder is verified through a pressure guage. A filled big cylinder will show around 130 psi on the pressure guage and with usage it will gradually reduce to 0. It ia advisable to get a refill once the pressure reaches between 10 to 20 psi. we also ensure that there is no leakege whatsoever.

For usage : make sure the cylinder is placed in a open space, standing erect, keep kids away.
now attach the fa valve / regulator to the valve of the oxygen cylinder

PLS NOTE : NO LUBRICATION SHOULD BE USED TO TIGHTEN THE REGULATOR once the regulator is connected to cylinder valve.

ENSURE THAT : the knob of the regulator is turned off and the pressure gauge is at 0 psi

after this open the spindle on the top of the oxygen cylinder valve with the help of spanner

Now Oxygen will start coming out from below of the flow meter provided on oxygen regulator. pls use knob of regulator to adjust the flow of oxygen.

oxygen is administered at liters per minute which is between .5 to 10 liters. It is advisable to consult a doctor beforehand and use a oxymeter.

a small medical oxygen cylinder filled with gas, set at 2 liters will approxmetely run for 5.5 hours while running continously whereas a big medical oxygen cylinder filled with gas, set at 2 liters will approxmetely run for 12 hours while running continously. after this period a fresh refill is required.

while not using, close the knob of oxygen regulator connected to cylinder valve. then close the spindle on the top of oxygen cylinder. remove all attachments and store at a safe and cool place and return to us it no longer required.

WARNING :A SILENT LOOKING, MEDICAL OXYGEN GAS CYLINDER, CONTAINS GAS AT HIGH PRESSURE, WHICH WHEN NOT HANDLED PROPERLY MAY RESULT IS SUDDEN REALESE OF THE PRESSURE WHICH CAN OUTCOME TO VARIOUS NEGATIVE CIRCUMSTANCES.
